About Your Session
Every session comes with a pre-session consult, so we can create a special session that reduces any nervousness you might have on set. You can do your own makeup and hair, or bring a friend, or choose a professional that we can recommend (additional payment required).
We also have a great closet of outfits, props, and accessories that can really make your images special! During your portrait session I will assist and direct you through posing and expression to get you comfortable in front of the camera so we can incorporate both posed and natural moments during your special session.
Regardless of the style or theme, I am here to do whatever you need to create a unique session just for you.
As Our Guest!
If you choose a Basic or Deluxe Session - stylized, pinup, glamour, or cosplay package, you're invited to use our costume closet! Skip the hassle of shopping and leave it to us. At our studio, we offer a robust assortment of outfits in a variety of sizes.
Guess what? There is no additional cost for this luxury!
We can also supply robes, corsets, bodysuits, stockings, and more.
Props, too! There’s hats, umbrellas, swords, jewelry, and everything in between.
Think about the look you want to go for - playful, pinup, western, glam, femme fatale or film noir, “flapper” 20’s, vintage... even Barbie! From there, we can be creative and find outfits that will be perfect!
I’ll be honest, this closet is ginormous! It’s a tad embarrassing. The image posted includes just a smidgen of what's available to choose from. We really do have something for everyone. Since it’s included in your package, this will save you money that you don’t have to spend.

What To Expect On Your Session Day
Some sessions are holiday or special theme-based. This is an opportunity to dress to the occasion and get creative with costumes, colors, and accessories. If it’s a family session, these are great ideas on what you could wear to be picture perfect:
Coordinate Outfits, But Don't Match
Choose a simple color palette and go from there. This will give everyone the option to pick an outfit of their own, but still be subtle and fit the scene.
Avoid Logos
This also includes avoiding crazy prints and patterns! It will bring unwanted attention to the outfit and cause distracting distortions to appear on the image that is not originally there.
Tone Down The Bright Colors
Vivid shades tend to reflect and bring attention away from the face. Darker clothing tends to blend better with backgrounds and slenderize the subject. Light or neutral colors can look appealing and fresh. If you fear not looking slender in your photos, avoid wearing plain whites. Pair it with a jacket or scarf and you will be good to go!
Hair, Makeup, and Nails: Keep It Simple
If you want your hair to be out of the way and not falling in your face, we recommend having it up and out of your eyes. For makeup, make sure it won’t rub off onto your outfit. Your nails should be nicely manicured and avoid chipped nail polish.
Accessorize!
This brings visual interest in your look and makes it appealing. For jewelry, try a necklace to compliment your neckline or bracelets to accentuate your outfit. Think outside the box and try a hat or suspenders to bring the extra wow factor! Some accessories add variety and may be used as props.
Remember, this is YOUR session. The main thing for you to remember is to have FUN! It’s normal for everyone to be nervous at times - just go with it and have fun!
